A meeting under the supervision of MCU Chairperson Rajni Dangi was held at the Nagar Parishad premises today to deliberate on sustenance and ramping up of the Heritage look of the city of Udaipur.

Among the other agenda items, it was proposed to establish a likeness among the Heritage areas of the city by installing equidistant analogous street lights in the Heritage areas.  The members also discussed shifting the Transformer at Jagdish Chowk so as to re-establish the Heritage look of the area.  It was also decided to repair the pipelines and sewage lines at and near all heritage sites to prevent water from flowing on the roads and to systematically pay stones for giving a heritage look to the area.

Rajni Dangi also appealed to the people residing in and around the City’s Heritage areas to place pictures depicting the old Heritage look outside their houses.

The Nirman Samiti President, PremSingh Shaktawat;  Superintendent Engineer, Shishirkant Varshnay; AEN (Electrical), Niraj Mathur; AEN (Construction), Yadunandan Gaur; Social Workers, Manish Arora and Yashwant Paliwal were present in the meeting.

Inspection of Ward number 16 and 20

Rajni Dangi with her team also inspected areas under Ward number 16 and 20 for their cleanliness.  She received complaints from the residents of Hamir Nagar, which comes under the purview of the UIT and Dangi subsequently asked R.P. Sharma, Secretary UIT to look into and resolve the complaints of the residents.

Letter to PHED

The MCU Chairperson also wrote a letter to the PHED today to check and repair the valve leakages in the city, as due to this a lot of water has accumulated in the residential areas as well as on roads.  She asked K.P.S. Ranawat, Addl. Ex-En to provide relief to the residents on this issue.

Prashsan Shehron Ke Sang Camp

Dangi informed that the ‘Prashasan Shehron ke Sang’ camp will be organized for Ward numbers 44, 48, and 49 at Nagar Parishad Premises tomorrow.
