District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar informed that special videography for civic engineering and tourism in Udaipur will be done using aerial photography and high technology digital photography technology.

Collector oversaw a test of functioning of photo capturing micro drone under the direction of Pixeldo, a private company owned by NID Student Pranshu Dubey.

“Aerial videography and photography will be useful for tourism. The photography will start from tomorrow for all historical monuments in the city” said Collector Ashutosh Pednekar.

Collector said “Besides tourism, this technological method could also be used for city mapping, inspecting the encroachments, maintaining the record of current situation of the city, re-engineering of chouraha and road network layout etc”
