Naresh Salecha Divisional Railway Manager (Ajmer) of North Western Railway visited Udaipur on Saturday morning. During his visit to Udaipur he inspected the arrangement of cleanliness and many other activities of the railway stations of the city.

Salecha had a long discussion with the officials of the railway department regarding the development of the stations and instructed them to make proper facilities for the passengers coming here.

Salecha while addressing the media highlighted that Udaipur along with Ajmer has been included in the list of all those railway stations which will be equipped with solar energy project and for these all the work will be completed by 15 January.

Salecha also made a proposal to the people to come forward and adopt city’s Rana Pratap Railway station for its maintenance and said that the broken water fountain situated here will be fixed soon with the help of the concerned department.

Besides this, Salecha also informed the media that the tender of an escalator at Rana Pratap Railway Station has been passed and will be soon installed there.

After inspecting the Railway station Salecha went to the Railway Training School where he inspected the working of the school and met the principal. The school principal placed a demand of planning a model of a railway engine at the school premises.
