Udaipur: Keshavnagar Residents Will Finally Get Direct Access to University Road and 100ft Road

Udaipur, Aug 11, 2025: The master plan of the Udaipur Development Authority to develop the 80ft road between the 100ft Ashoka Palace intersection and University Road, has finally seen the light of the day.

The new 80ft road, will now begin from the Ashoka Palace intersection on the 100ft road at Sobhagpura and lead to University Road, traversing through the Raj Darbar Restaurant and right through Keshav Nagar. This 1.5km road will now provide direct connectivity to the residents of Keshav Nagar will finally be able to access University Road and the 100ft road through this wide passage; earlier they had to travel through the narrow lanes.

On this 1.5 km long road, 900 meters of 80ft road already exists. The remaining 600 meters are yet to be laid out and opened. Of this 600 meters, 300 meters is government land and 300 meters is part of private land. The 140 meter stretch from Ashoka Palace to Raj Darbar Restaurant is already 80ft wide. Further conversion of 100 meters of field is pending and at 240 meters there is an 80ft road till Trinity Residency and Chandanwadi. After 200 meters of disputed land, there is again an 80ft road near the Sanskrit College.

City MLA Tarachand Jain inspected and discussed with UDA officials about this road proposed in the master plan of UDA.
