The alleged physical assault of a patient’s relative and press photographers by a few Resident Doctors of Maharana Bhopal Hospital last night has started boiling today when Kshatriya Mahasabha, the social body of Rajput community and Lakecity Press Club individually approached higher officials including District Collector Hemant Gera and Dr. S.K Kaushik Principal of R.N.T Medical College and demanded strict action against the resident doctors who have been accused of the alleged misconduct.

On the other side, few Residents sat on a strike and asked several demands including improving security measures in the hospital and not allowing press and media personnel in the hospital.

M.B Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in the region is always occupied with hundreds of patients everyday who come from Udaipur and nearby places. The hospital authority has always been criticized for their poor management including the arrogant behavior of Resident Doctors.

According to Akhtar Khan, president of Lakecity Press Club the incident that occurred last night is the 5^th in the past few days; few Resident Doctors have past records of misbehaving, assaulting and insulting patients and their relatives and media persons.

Dr. S.K Kaushik assured Press Club to take the strict action and asked 24 hours, whereas five days of ultimatum is given by Press Club to bring the culprits and take actions against them according to law.

Resident Doctors also demanded to arrest Jitendra Singh Chauhan the relative of patient admitted in the hospital, according to doctors Jitendra has allegedly attacked docs on the night of 8th July. Jitendra, though has lodged a complain of being assaulted by doctors.
