On the second day of the UMC Election nomination filing, 4 nominations were filled today from four different areas of the city.

Out of the 4 nomination forms, 2 were filled by Mukesh Dhabai today for the position of corporator of ward no. 5 and other 3 forms were filled by Dinesh Soni from Ward no. 11, Bhagwan Singh from Ward no. 32 and Shiv Shankar from ward no. 33.

It seems that as the days of nomination filling are passing by, the candidates have started reaching at the collector’s office to deposit their nomination forms. On 9th November (Sunday) forms will not be accepted as it is a holiday but in the next two days the process of nominations will continue.

The forms deposited by the candidates will be scrutinized on 12th November and the candidates will be given a chance on 13th November to withdraw their forms as on 15th November the final list of the candidates for UMC elections will be issued.
