Under the Motor Vehicle Act, new amendments have been passed which will be implemented in the city from tomorrow.

The following are the rules for two wheeler:

* Without Helmet – Rs. 500 * Without PUC – Rs. 500 * Without Insurance of the vehicle – Rs. 10,000 * Without License – Rs.10,000; vehicle seized * 3 ride sitting – Rs. 1000 * Using mobile while driving – Rs. 5000 * Without proper paper – Rs. 500; vehicle seized, will be retrieved from the court.

The following are the rules for four-wheeler:

* Without seat belt – Rs. 1000 * Without PUC – Rs. 1500 * Without Insurance – Rs. 10,000 * Without License – Rs. 10,000; vehicle seized * Without proper papers – Rs. 5000; vehicle seized, will be retrieved from the court. * Using mobile while driving – Rs. 5000

It is required for the drivers of two-wheeler and four-wheeler to follow the rules strictly and carry all the necessary documents.
