Udaipur Development Authority to Allot 1,109 Plots, Approves ₹96.67 Cr Sewerage & Road Works
Udaipur, Aug 27, 2025: A total of 1,109 plots will be allotted by the Udaipur Development Authority. Of these plots, 311 plots in Kaldavas Awasiya Yojana, 550 plots in South Extension, Sector-A Awasiya Yojana and 248 residential plots in Revenue Village Nohra will be allotted as per decision taken in the Executive Committee meeting of the UDA chaired by Rahul Jain, CEO of UDA on August 27.
Plots Will be Allotted by Lottery
In all the three schemes discussed, it has been decided to allot the plots through lottery as per the rules under Rajasthan Improvement Trust (Disposal of Urban Land) Rules 1974 and on the basis of investigation and recommendation by the Lottery Committee of the Authority and to sell the remaining plots through e-auction.
Rs. 96.67 Cr for Sewerage
A comprehensive sewerage system approximately 45km in length will be laid in Navratna Complex, situated in the northern end of Udaipur. The DPR towards this work, as announced in the Chief Minister's Budget Announcement 2025-26 was approved in the meeting and Rs. 96.67 Cr was approved to be released towards the work.of laying the sewerage line in the entire Navratna and New Navratna area.
Community Buildings on PPP Mode
The community centres at Baicha and Badgaon have been leased out under the PPP model. The maximum bid of Rs. 27,24,000 (plus Rs. 4,90,320 GST) per annum for the Balicha Community Centre and Rs. 12,60,000 (plus Rs. 2,26,800 GST) per annum for the Badgaon Community Centre were approved at the meeting. The lease amount will increase by 10% each year. The approved lease period is 5 years.
Re-work on Damaged Roads
An approval of Rs 7.72 Cr worth of road works was given for the converted areas of Nakoda Nagar # 1, 2 and 3 and for Saubhagya Nagar and Gayatri Nagar situated in the revenue village Dholi Magri in Bedwas area. The roads in the said areas is not suitable for commuting and are accident prone. The road works have been damaged after the laying down of water supply lines in the residences by the PHED and laying down of the gas pipelines by Adani Gas. Since the work of pipelines for both water and gas supply is now near completion, the road development work will commence immediately.
The UDA Also approved 10 projects costing Rs 23.15 Cr and 12 projects costing Rs. 28.7 Cr in various locations under the administration of the authority, where development work needs to be done.
Additional Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department Shaitan Singh, Additional Chief Engineer of Electricity Corporation Indra Raj Meena, Superintending Engineer of PWD Munim Chandra Meena, UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar, Director Engineering Secretary, Sanjeev Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Bindu Bala, Director Law Shankar Singh Devda, Director Planning Anupam Sharma, Director Finance Dr. Khushboo Ameta, Superintending Engineer Anit Mathur, Executive Engineer Neeraj Mathur, Hitesh Sukhwal, Nirmal Suthar, Vijay Patel, Sanjay Meena, Executive Engineer Udaipur Development Authority were present in the meeting.
