Udaipur Police Department to get 40 motorbikes

In order to strengthen to the police force of the district, the state government has announced to allot 50 new motorbikes to the cops.

In order to strengthen to the police force of the district, the state government has announced to allot 50 new motorbikes to the cops.

The announcement was made by Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria during an event at Police Line today. Additional Deputy General of Police T.L Meena and other top police officials including S.P, Dy.S.Ps and SHOs of 42 police stations of district were present on the occasion.

While addressing, Home Minister said that the motorbikes will help the police personnel to maintain law and order in remote areas and narrow lanes where police jeeps are unable to reach. Bikes are always helpful to patrol interior areas of the city. Kataria said that “Police department is my family and being the leader of the family, it is my duty to make it stronger and efficient”.

Kataria said that more than 10000 residential quarters will be constructed soon for police personnel under a special scheme.
