The anti-encroachment unit of Urban Improvement Trust removed an encroachment at Shiv Park colony of Durga Nursery area today.

The team demolished a wall made on the 10 ft road by a family of the area who had illegally owned the area from last 40 years. The UIT team rushed to the scene with a JCB and executed the drive.

The action was taken at the back side of the Shivam complex where a boundary wall was blocking the common road connecting to Shiv temple of the area.

Maheshchand Garwal, a local of the area said, “It is a joyous day for us as for last many years we had to use the main road to reach the Shiv temple to offers prayers.”

The encroachment also motivated activities of anti-social elements near the temple area.
