When big fire fighting trucks are unable to reach in the densely populated old city areas because of narrow lanes, Municipal Corporation has solution for it as the civic authority introduced Fire Fighting Motorbikes.

It is fast and equipped with everything necessary equipment to control emergency situations like fire.

Udaipur has 18 wards situated in old city and it is unfeasible for fire brigades to reach these areas because of narrow lanes. After introducing fire fighting motorbikes the response time will increase.

The fully sophisticated and modified Royal Enfield bikes are equipped with two cylinders of 10kg filled with fire extinguishers; the bike also has an emergency siren and other tools.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari said that it is a major step towards making the fire fighting department more capable and responsive. Udaipur is the first city of state to introduce motorbikes in fire fighting.
