A fire was reported at BN Automobiles, a car and heavy vehicle repair workshop.

Located near the Indian Oil depot adjacent to Paras Hotel, the workshop is run on lease by Shakir Khan and Aslam Khan. The owner of the premises is Roop Kuma Dangi.

There is a sugarcane juice shop next to the premises, and the residue cane is stored in the workshop premises. A short circuit in the workshop today morning at 10:30 triggered fire in the premises and the cane residue caught fire. This affected a few vehicles which were stationed near the residue dump.

The fire brigade and a police team from the Goverdhan Vilas police station rushed to the spot and controlled the fire.

No major loss of material or injury to any person was reported.
