Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal Udaipur launches a one-month summer training camp for age 8+ from May 15, 2026, for folk dance, music, instruments and puppet making
Udaipur, April 23, 2026 - Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur, will conduct a one-month summer training camp from May 15, 2026. Classes will be held daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Director Dr Laiq Hussain informed that in the camp participants above the age of eight will be provided training for one month in various performance-oriented folk arts such as dance, singing, instrument playing and glove puppet making.
Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in taking part can visit the office during working hours and complete their registration by May 14, 2026.
Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal organises various workshops and training camps throughout the year with the objective of promotion, dissemination and training in folk arts. As part of this, the institution also organises an annual summer training camp every year.
