A joyful farewell of the students of Class XII was organized today at the Central Public School with loads of wishes for the upcoming board exams and their bright future ahead after finishing school.

Hundreds of students accepted the greetings by their teachers and fellow junior students in a ceremony held at CPS today morning.

Students of Class XI Science and Commerce organized the event, which started with a pooja of Goddess Saraswati and followed by the address to students by K.C Sharma, Director of the school.

“I wish to see my own students as Chief Guest in the upcoming farewell function of CPS. I heartily wish all students a bright career and a successful life ahead and hope they will keep the name of CPS always at top and keep making us proud.”

The two hour program consisted of various cultural events including a fusion dance and a theme based drama by Class XI students and a surprise performance by teachers fascinated everyone.

Gaurang Vashisht, student of Class XII and captain of the school expressed his views on the day of the farewell; he shared his sweet memories of the school.

Deepak Sharma, Joint Director of CPS with Ms. Zahra, Principal and Sunil Babel, Vice Principal inaugurated the commemoration ceremony by giving mementos to students who have achieved in various academic and co-curricular activities.

At last, the students of Class XII gifted a speaker system to the school; the gift was handed over to the Director of the school.
