Waterfall at Fateh Sagar in its final stage
The work of putting up an artificial waterfall on Moti Magri Hill adjoining the beautiful Lake Fateh Sagar is reaching to its final stage. The initiative was undertaken by Udaipur Urban Improvement Trust last year in the month of October with an objective of making the place more beautiful & attractive.

Nirmal Suthar, Assistant Engineer of U.I.T informed UT that a water tank of 10,000 liter is installed to supply water to it; the water will fall from the hill of Moti Magri and will collect in the Lake Fateh Sagar through a small tunnel.
The budget sanctioned for the project is about Rs. 6 lacs and the fall has already taken its shape and only some work is remaining. It is expected to be fully functional in a month or two.
Nirmal Suthar said, “Traffic was the major hurdle that we have faced while working on this project but now the fall is in trail stage and almost completed.”
The initial idea of the aforesaid waterfall project was proposed by District Collector, Hemant Gera while many other people who have played a vital role in making the project complete are, Superintendent Engineer of U.I.T Anil Nepaliya, Executive Engineer of U.I.T Anil Mathur & Sanjeev Sharma , Assistant Engineer of U.I.T Vimal Mehta , Engineer Incharge of Maharna Pratap Smarak Samiti, Rajendra Trivedi and Dalpat Surana, hon. Secretary of Field Club Udaipur.
Team of U.T congratulates the authorities and administration on completion of the project and hope that the fall will be opened for public soon.
