Animal Lover Chaman Singh shaves his head in support of T-24

By raising his voice in support of the demand to send the Tiger -24 of Ranthambore back to his old habitat from his enclosure of the Sajjangarh Biological Park , a wild animal lover and a famous snake catcher of the city Chaman Singh staged a protest outside the collectorate on Saturday.

Singh not only handed over a memorandum to the administrative officers in the name of Governor but also shaved off his head to display his annoyance for inaction in the matter.

In his memorandum Chaman has claimed that the Tiger -24 “Ustad” is not a man eater and he had attacked the forest employees at the National Park only when they entered in his territory; else he has never harmed any tourist or photographers coming to the National Park.

Chaman further highlighted that the decision to shift the animal from Ranthambore to Udaipur was taken under the pressure of the higher officials of the forest department and the decision should be reconsidered soon so that he goes back to his old habitat as it is unfair for a wild animal to live in small enclosure who had lived in a vast area of 40 Km.  Following the similar demand, a memorandum was already been handed over to the Forest Minister Raj Kumar Rinva during his previous visit to Udaipur.

Besides this, if the employees of the forest department were allotted safety equipment and safety suits for dealing with wild animals then the deadly incidences could be avoided which took place at the Ranthambore National Park previously, Chaman Singh mentioned in his memorandum.
