In its special drive to clean the city of lakes, district collector Ashutosh Pednekar has urged local youth to come forward in the mission and make it effective and successful.

The movement Clean Udaipur was initiated by UIT under the direction of district collector. The drive is divided into various phases including action against illegal posters, banners and advertising on road side, removing of street hawkers and making the public places, tourist spots clean.

According to Ashutosh Pednekar, “On 28^th Jan, another project related to Clean Udaipur will be started from lake side areas where locals and tourists throw trash on roadside.” He added, “I want equal contribution of youth in this mission. We are spreading awareness by organizing competitions in educational institutes, hosting seminars to get more and more support.”
