Gandhigiri with a motive to Imbibe Traffic Sense

Armed with an endeavor to spread awareness of road safety and traffic rules among motorists, the students of Adinath Shiksha Sansthan initiated a motivating initiative through Gandhigiri. Over a hundred female students carrying a big smile and gracious in manner, greeted every motorist and appealed them to follow traffic rules.

Over a hundred female students carrying a big smile and gracious in manner, greeted every motorist and appealed them to follow traffic rules.

Us of a Helmet remained the main objective of the movement as students presented gifts to those who were wearing helmets and appealed by joining hands to those who were riding without helmets. The program was supported by Udaipur Traffic Police.

Gandhigiri with a motive to Imbibe Traffic SenseAccording to Ritu Bhatnagar, Principal of Adinath Sikhsha Sansthan, a teachers training college at Sector-11, the program started with a rally which was flagged off by the Traffic Superintendent of Police, Mahendra Singh.

The rally commenced from Town Hall and concluded at Court Chauraha, passing through Surajpol, Bapu Bazaar and Delhi Gate on its journey.

Ritu Bhatnagar informed that later the students were divided into several groups and reached the main traffic circle of the city and started their “Gandhigiri

“Motorists were applied Tilak, greeted nicely and requested to wear helmets and those who were already wearing, were gifted with things like a pen, etc.”, said Bhatnagar.
