After the pressure created by the public over the order of district collector to close the Ashwini Bazar entrance gate of M B Hospital, ADM City Muhammad Yasin Pathan assured that the route will not be closed for now.

The order was put on hold after various business associations and political parties presented a memorandum to the Collector today against the closure of the second entrance (Ashwini Bazar Side) of MB Hospital.

Maldas Street Business Association, Hathipol Business Association, BJP Youth Front and Ambedkar Mandal, Mama Ganeshji Business Association, Khatik Samaj, Mali Samaj and various public representatives presented memorandum against Collector’s order which cited security reasons for the closure of the gate.

According to memorandum, the decision of closing the entrance is not in favor of Udaipurites. People suggested deployment of security guards at the gates and inside the hospital campus for security.
