Rotary Club to make 1 Lac Happy Schools by 2017
After successfully initiating the Polio Eradication Program in India, Rotary Club is now introducing T.E.A.C.H program to facilitate schools of India and South East Asia.
After successfully initiating the Polio Eradication Program in India, Rotary Club is now introducing T.E.A.C.H program to facilitate schools of India and South East Asia.
By this, Rotary Club will adopt schools located in remote villages, especially those schools that do not have basic facilities of toilets, computer education and hygiene.
Ramesh Agarwal, Governor of Rotary District 3052 visited Udaipur today and addressed a press conference to inform about various projects and campaigns by Rotary Club. Agarwal said, “Due to the support of thousands of rotary clubs around the world, the Polio Eradication program received huge success.”
Punit Saxena, president of Rotary Club Elite informed that construction of a multi unit facility house has already started in Government School, Dhikli. The construction will help 130 girls studying in the school.
Rotary Club is hoping to cover 1 Lac schools till 2017 and will make it “Happy School”.
“A school at Aagdodiya – Bhensdakala is also undertaken by Rotary Club (Elite) and construction of toilets has already started from today,” informed Punit Saxena.
