Donald Trump Jr. visits City Palace, Meets Dr Lakshyaraj Singh
Discussion included Mewar’s history, culture and global affairs
Udaipur, Nov 22, 2025 - Donald John Trump Jr., who is in Udaipur to attend the wedding ceremony of the daughter of billionaire pharma king Rama Raju Mantena, visited the Udaipur City Palace and paid a courtesy call on Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar along with friend Raj Mantena.
Dr Lakshyaraj, a member of the former Royal family of Mewar, welcomed Trump Jr. and Mantena with traditional Mewari hospitality.
During their interaction, they discussed the rich history and culture of Mewar as well as current global events. Trump Jr. reportedly expressed his admiration for the valour of Mewar’s historical icons — Maharana Kumbha, Maharana Sanga and Maharana Pratap — and by Mewar’s legacy of upholding dharma.
Dr Lakshyaraj presented Trump Jr. and Mantena with symbolic emblems of Mewar.
