Madhuri Dixit Joins McLaren Supercar Drive in Udaipur

The Bollywood actress was accompanied by husband Dr Shriram Nene; the McLaren drive was flagged off by Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar from Manak Chowk

Udaipur, January 24, 2025 - Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit today took part in the celebration drive of McLaren cars in Udaipur with her husband Dr Shriram Nene. The star participated in the rally, driving her McLaren 750. The drive, from Udaipur to Mount Abu, is being held to celebrate the sale of 50 McLaren supercars in India and the Formula One team's Constructors Championship.

Before the event at Manak Chowk of the City Palace, Madhuri took a walk along Lake Pichola enjoying the beauty and serenity of the heritage structures along the lakeside.

The actress said, "I'm feeling so good, it's such a beautiful morning here, and the temperatures are also great. It's quite cold, and I'm really enjoying it. And of course, this drive that's going to happen today, it's my first time doing it, and I think it's going to be very exciting. The roads, streets and palaces of Udaipur are just wonderful. I'm going to enjoy myself here."

The drive was flagged off by Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former Royal family of Mewar, who was accompanied by his son Bhanwar Haritraj Singh Mewar .

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Lakshyaraj Singh said he was happy that people with an interest in cars were getting an opportunity to see them here in Udaipur.

“As a father, it's my duty to expose such things to my children, so their interest continues to grow," he added.

Haritraj Singh took a keen interest in the cars on display and when asked which his favourite was, he singled out Madhuri's car from the convoy because of its colour.

The drive was flagged off from Manak Chowk in Udaipur and will continue to Mount Abu before returning to Udaipur. The rally features 11 McLaren owners who will drive through some of the most picturesque and historic locations in the region, on the journey from Udaipur to Mount Abu. The convoy includes several McLaren models, such as the 720, GT, Artura, and the very rare McLaren 750S Spider Edition, which was produced in only 60 units.
