The shooting of an upcoming Rajasthani film Kangna is going on these days in Udaipur. The producers of the film claimed that this will be the first Rajasthani film to be similar to a Bollywood film on the ground of technicality.

It is a joint venture of A.E enterprises and Media Minds, production house based in Mumbai. The Pacific University of Udaipur is the education partner of the film and giving full support to it, the producer added.

Kangana is a family oriented film highlighting 3 social causes-women empowerment, save girl child and stop eve teasing.

While talking to UT Kuku Sharma, one of the producers of the film informed that Shivendra (Mr Gladrags) is debuting as a lead from this film whereas Ruhi Chatruvedi will play the female lead.

The film also has a number melodious songs sung by famous Bollywood singer Vinod Rathore, Raja Hasan and Jayshree, Kuku added.

Kuku also informed that till now they have shot at various locations of Udaipur. The film will be completed by 15th September.

Gufi Paintal a senior actor who has worked in many notable Bollywood films and has played a legendary role of “Mama Shakuni” in Mahabharata, a television series is the main highlight of the movie.

Gufi while talking to UT informed that he is playing the role of hero’s father in the film. It is his first chance to play a role in Rajasthani film. He said, “I have seen regional movies grow at a fast pace and if Gujarati, Bhojpuri and Punjabi movies can grow, then why should not Rajasthani films make their place in National and International media? We are putting our efforts to take our film to such a level and hoping that it will attract the audience.”
