While investigating a road accident where a man died, Goverdhan Vilas police discovered that the accident was part of planned murder. The truck driver was arrested on Sunday who disclosed the conspiracy.

According to police, victim Ganesh Lal and his wife were going on motorcycle when a truck hit the couple. Ganesh Lal succumbed to his injuries while his wife was admitted in hospital. Lokesh Solanki, son of the victim couple, doubted the mishap as a planned assassination and lodged complaint of murder.

During investigation, Police found a clue which lead to the arrest of truck driver Devi Lal alias Deva, resident of Naya Kheda. Deva during interrogation revealed that he was hired to kill Ganesh Lal in a way that the murder should look like an accident.

As per police, the murder is related to a prolong land dispute between the victim and Chunnilal Teli who is the prime suspect and currently at large.

“A team of police has started search operation to catch the main accused, we presume there are more things to come forward after his arrest,” a police official said.
