A man was allegedly abducted, thrashed and later set free by a group of accused over financial dispute. The report is lodged by the victim Shyamlal Meghwal against Himmat Singh and his accomplices.

The incident took place on Sunday when Shyamlal, resident of Kurabad went to Eklingpura area to take money from Karan Singh. Shyamlal was accompanied with his relative Rajendra Meghwal.

The key accused Himmat Singh, resident of Titardi is arrested today by Hiran Magri Police.

As per report, instead of giving the money, Karan Singh and his aides abducted Shyamlal in their car and fled away. Frightened Rajendra informed Hiran Magri Police. The police in an attempt to rescue tried tracing the location.

However, before police could rescue him, the accused Himmat Singh left Shyamlal in an isolated area of Dabok and fled away. Shyamlal informed police that he was beaten by the accused before being released.
