A case of Drug peddling came into light yesterday evening, when a young boy was arrested with 270 gm of Smack, by the police at Surajpol.

Sajid Khan, resident of Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), was stopped by the Surajpol Police, when a team was returning to the police station after doing their rounds of the hotels in the Fatah School area in Surajpol. The boy, on seeing policemen near him, started walking briskly away from the team. When the police followed, he increased his pace. This aroused the suspicion of the policemen and they swiftly caught him. The boy has been taken into custody and interrogation has started. In the initial interrogation, Sajid revealed that he had bought the drug from Neemuch.
