In the series of continuous thefts reported in the city, a house at Sundervas was ransacked by thieves on 9th Oct. Nearly 10 tola gold and 8 kg silver ornaments worth more than Rs. 3 lac were stolen from the house of Lokesh Dhakad.

 

In the series of continuous thefts reported in the city, a house at Sundervas was ransacked by thieves on 9th Oct. Nearly 10 tola gold and 8 kg silver ornaments worth more than Rs. 3 lac were stolen from the house of Lokesh Dhakad.

Lokesh, a jewelry businessman, resident of Oswal Colony, Sunderwas was out of the city when the incident occurred.

Fortunately, 30 tolas of gold remained untouched as thieves were not able to unlock the safe.

According to the report lodged by the victim, he left his house with his younger brother Pintu and went to Badi Sadri. Yesterday morning Pintu left for the shop and when he returned back for lunch he noticed that everything was scattered in the house and ornaments were missing.

Pintu immediately informed his brother Lokesh who rushed to Udaipur and lodged police complaint.

Pratap Nagar Police has started the investigation and also lodged naka bandi in the city.
