In a Police Raid, the Gantaghar Police seized 1009 Bottles of Imitations of Branded Perfumes at Asian Industries, Gantaghar in the morning today.

Subhash Balawat, owner of Asian Industries has been arrested by the Police for his illicit cottage production of fake perfumes.

According to the Police, they had been tipped of about Balawat’s wrong doing from their sources. No estimate on the value of the stock of the seized goods has been declared so far.

Balawat’s son, on the condition of not disclosing his name said, “All these goods are a part of the order we had received from a party outside the city.” Other than this, he denied all the allegations on his father.

Balawat used to sell his produce in the city outskirts and the nearby villages, said the Police.
