An 11 year old girl was allegedly raped and trashed by one of her neighbors on Monday night at Zawar mines area. The accused took the adolescent to the nearby jungle from a marriage function where she was with her family and relatives; raped her and fled from the scene.

The incidence happened at night where the 11 year old girl was targeted by the accused staying in the same village. The courageous girl somehow managed to reach her village and explained the entire scene to the relatives who filed an FIR against the accused.

The 11 year old girl, resident of Dalwas village was staying at Zawar Mines with her uncle since she was 8 years old and had been studying there. Upon getting the information of the mishap, the hunt for the accused has been started post medical examination confirmed the crime committed.
