2 Jain Temples located at Dhikli, Pratap Nagar was targeted by thieves last night. Two ancient idols and one silver chatra were stolen from the temples. Police complaint is lodged by the priest Nandlal Bapna.

Both temples, Shanti Nath Mandir and Charbhuja Mandir are situated in one compound. The theft was discovered today morning when the priest opened the temples. The idol of Lord Shantinath is said to be 1400 years old. Pratap Nagar police has started the investigation.

Thieves also broke enter into a shop nearby and stole Rs.8000 cash, a mobile phone and a camera.
