16-year-old girl commits suicide, parents accuse kidnapper
A 16 year old girl of Bhudar village, Udaipur on Monday died after consuming poisonous substance. Her parents claimed that she was forcibly given the poison by an accused that had first kidnapped her on August 15. They had also lodged a police complaint against him suspecting him behind the mishap.

Victim’s father Manilal informed that his daughter Sonia was a student of 1st year B.A and was studying at Kherwada. She left the house on August 15 for her college and didn’t return since then. Her relatives were searching for her but she was not found anywhere.
On 10th September the brother of the accused informed the victim’s parents on phone that their daughter was admitted at the Panna Dhay Unit of M.B hospital in an unconscious state. They immediately rushed to the hospital after getting the information but could not talk to her as she was unconscious.
Despite receiving treatment at the hospital, the minor girl died on Sunday afternoon and her dead body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem, Manilal Informed.
Though it appears as case of suicide but the parents are claiming that it is a case of abetting to commit suicide. They blamed one Roshan Lal of Kaya village for kidnapping the victim and allegedly sexually assaulting her and also forcing her to consume poison. They have lodged a complaint against Roshan Lal and demanded strict legal action against him, ManiLal.
