16-year-old kills a twelve-year-old boy under family dispute

Body of Tunkar Gameti (12) resident of Village Paraya ki Bagal under Sukher Police Jurisdiction was found in a forest near the village. Police has detained a 16-year-old boy for the murder.
The victim Tunkar alias Tannu (in inset) is son of Chunnilal Gameti, a daily wage labour. The boy was reportedly missing from 14 Nov. Tannu’s body was found mutilated; his face was destroyed by a heavy object and one of his legs was also eaten by wild animals.
According to police, the murder is linked with a dispute between the families of both the victim and accused. Father of the victim approached police today and during search operation, Police found the body in the jungle.
Police has also detained a suspected teenage boy who confessed of murdering Tannu by hitting him with stones. He (accused) first asked Tannu to accompany him to forest for collecting woods. While making him engaged in talks, he hit Tannu with stone.
When Tannu fell unconscious, the accused took a heavy stone and hit him several times before fleeing from there.
