A complaint has been registered at the Surajpol Police Station against two persons for allegedly blackmailing a woman. The duo has been arrested following the complaint.

Santosh Nagda and Akshay Kumawat, residents of Asthal Mandir, Surajpol were arrested after a woman lodged a complaint alleging that the duo was blackmailing her of putting up a video of hers on the internet.

As per the details of the complaint, the woman, who used to give tuition to the younger brother of Santosh, had gone for her regular tuition session to Santosh’s house on 15th March.

The boy whom she used to give tuition to, was not at home while Santosh and Akshay were there. She further alleged that the duo invited her to a room, gave her something cold to drink. After taking the drink, the woman fell unconscious. Santosh then took advantage of her precarious position and indulged in physical molestation.

After 2 days passed, the duo blackmailed the woman of publishing the clip of the video taken on 15th March, over internet. To stop the boys from doing that, the woman was asked to pay a sum of Rs. 2 lac to them.

Today, the woman lodged the complaint again the two accused and on her complaint, the police arrested Santosh and Akshay.

The Police is now investigating the matter and questioning the accused.
