In what could be termed as one of the weirdest incidents, two men are arrested for not only killing a fully grown leopard, but also for eating the beast.

35-year-old Juma Gameti and 50-year-old Chena Gameti both from Village Chilla, Bagdara under Gogunda Tehsil had allegedly killed the leopard in revenge, as the leopard used to hunt their cattle.

The cooked flesh of animal, partially burnt skin and bones were found from the jungle of Ramdev Khadri.

Both Juma and his associate Chena confessed of killing the leopard and eating its flesh.

According to police, accused revealed that the leopard used take away goats and sheep often, yesterday afternoon when the animal was seen by the two near their farm; they first killed the animal with sharp weapons and later cooked it for food.
