Two people are booked under IPC 420, Merchandize Act and Copyright Act for illicitly selling duplicate product of Miraj.

Nitesh Jain and Mohanlal Jain, were arrested by Surajpol Police after being caught in a raid conducted today, at Nada Khada and Machchla Magra areas.

According to sources, Vijay Maheshwari, Marketing Official of Miraj Production Ltd., has informed police about a man at Nada Khada, behind Bapu Bazaar who is involved in selling fake product with Miraj’s label.

Acting on the tip off, police team led by Ramlal, A.S.I., raided the place and arrested Mohanlal Jain with 3 cartons of fake products. In the initial interrogation, Mohanlal revealed that he purchased the goods from another person Nitesh Jain from Machchla Magra.

Following the information, Police arrested Nitesh and also found one box of fake Miraj products.

Both are arrested under IPC 420, Merchandize Act and Copyright Act.
