Goverdhan Vilas Police arrested two people under the charges of stealing a car from Ahmedabad. The accused were arrested on 30^th July from N.H 8 Balicha while they were coming towards Udaipur.

According to police, the accused Shakti Singh and his associate Chetan Prakash were going in a Tavera car.

At balicha, Hawk no.9 stopped them but the driver Shakti Singh tried to escape. Head constable Chandan Singh and Constable Mahendra Singh caught both the accused and took them to police station.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that they had stolen the car 20 days ago from Ahmedabad and they were intending to sell it in Udaipur. The accused also informed that they also stole a car in April 2014 but they left the car abandoned.

Police station head Vridhhichand Gurjar informed that both accused are arrested and the interrogation is going on and more cases of thefts might be disclosed.
