2 Burglaries: cash, jewelries and valuables stolen

Incidence of thefts has been registered in two different areas of the city yesterday on 5th November. Cash, jewelries and valuables were reportedly stolen from the residences of one Shambulal from Badi and the other Sudhir Mathur, resident of Hiran Magri sector-4.

 

Incidence of thefts has been registered in two different areas of the city yesterday on 5th November. Cash, jewelries and valuables were reportedly stolen from the residences of one Shambulal from Badi and the other Sudhir Mathur, resident of Hiran Magri sector-4.

According to Ambamata Police, the complaint of theft had been lodged by Pratap Lal that the suspected thieves stole gold jewelries, including mangal sutra and madliya; silver anklets and cash Rs. 900. Thieves also took away silver chhatar from the nearby temple.

In another case, thieves had targeted the house of a bank manager at Hiran Magri sector-4. The house owner, Sudhir Mathur is manager of Punjab National Bank, Sirohi and yesterday when he came to Udaipur with his family, he found his house completely ransacked and a microwave oven and Rs. 6000 were missing from the house.

Hiran Magri police has lodged the complaint and initiated the investigation.
