2 Injured in a fight between two communities

Two people were reportedly injured in a clash between two communities held last night in Boharwadi and Kaharwadi areas. The incident occurred when few children of the both communities had a fight which consecutively involved elders.

No arrests have been made so far. According to the police, they didn’t receive any written complaint yet, however a group of community members claimed they had lodged a police complaint.

There are several different versions coming from several sources about how the fight started. A group of people say that a child was thrashed by specific community which caused the clash while the other community blames that fight was started due to an issue started by children of both communities.

A blind man received injuries while another man sustained wound on his leg, a two wheeler was damaged and a glass door of a shop was shattered in the incident.

Police force was deployed to control law and order situation.
