Hathipol police on Wednesday night detained 2 men for misbehaving with an on-duty resident doctor and for creating nuisance at the hospital premises. The detention was made under section 151 CRPC.

The accused identified as Akash of Dhanmandi and his accomplice Kamal of Til Bazar went to the MB Hospital at night for treatment of one of their associates. Being allegedly drunk, the accused started arguing with the doctor when he was busy attending another patient.

The scene turned into a brawl where the accused tried to get physical with the doctor and raised their voices against him. When the home guards reacted to the situation by interfering, the accused got violent with them as well, informed police.

Soon a team of Hathipol police rushed to the scene, arrested the 2 men and booked them under section 151 of CRPC.
