Sanjay Harijan is admitted at MB Hospital in a critical condition, after being allegedly shot by the accused Ishtiyaq Kunjra.

The fight had started after an argument over a petty issue. The condition of the victim is said to be critical. Police have started investigating and searching for the accused who is absconding.

The victim Sanjay, resident of Savina Kachhi Basti, was shot by a revolver on his chest. He along with his friend Lokesh Khatik, had an argument with Ishtiyaq who is a resident of Lal Magri. Ishtiyaq came to Lokesh’s house and started threatening him with revolver.

When Sanjay tried to intervene, Ishtiyaq allegedly shot him on left side of the chest. Sanjay was immediately rushed to hospital, and is now undergoing treatment.

UPDATE:  After initial treatment at the Emergency, the victim died during treatment, he breathed his last at 12 Midnight. The family members of Sanjay have given a statement that there was no treatment done for 2 hours while Sanjay was at the Hospital and that the Police kept them coordinating between the Police Station and Hospital for quite some time, which delayed the treatment.
