Three people have been arrested so far in the 6^th Sept incident of firing at Azad Market located in Sector 11. The arrests were made on 8^th Sept morning from Mandwa, Ambaji (Gujarat).

Arvind Koted, the key accused along with Harish Meena and Mahesh Damor were arrested by Udaipur police. The trio was hiding in the jungles of Mandwa. The other three accused Chetan, Sheru and Rakesh Meena are still absconding.

Police reached Udaipur with the three arrested and produced them in court. Court has granted them one day remand. In the initial interrogation, the accused informed that they opened fired in their defense.

The accused also added that on 4^th Sept Arvind Koted had lodged complaint against Nirbhay Singh for allegedly misbehaving with Koted’s girlfriend. On the same issue, Avind and his friend attacked Nirbhay with sticks and sword.

When local businessmen approached towards them, one of the accused opened fire in air and fled away.

One of the accused Chetan is also wanted by Gujarat Police for liquor smuggling.
