3 Arrested for House Breaking, Stolen Goods Recovered

With the criminal activities taking its toll on the city, the Udaipur Police has been in real action all this while. The Police have got another success when three suspected people were detained and in initial interrogations they confessed to executing three burglaries in the city and stealing precious and expensive jewelry and household goods worth lacs of rupees.

Raju alias Ganpat alias Doda (20), Bansi (25) and Ambalal (24) all resident of Eklavya Nagar, near Ambamata were arrested today by a special police team made under the directions of S.P Hariprasad Sharma.

According to the police, 18 Tola Gold, Watches, Laptop, LCD and other electronic items have been recovered from them.  They have revealed to commit theft at three places in the past few months, one Allahbari Mansoori’s house at Haridas Ji Ki Magri, at the house of Ayub Sheikh in Rim Jim Vatika and Firoz Ali’s house at New Ahinsapuri.

One of the Police officers said that Ambamata Police team was keeping a close vigil on the trio and they were finally arrested yesterday.

“We will produce them before court and ask for a remand, and hope to get more revelations from them,” said the Officer In Charge.

The team of police consisted of C.I Radmal, ASI’s Shambhunath, Gautam and Ekling with Constables Arjun Singh, Jhalam Singh and Manoj.
