Three people have been arrested for illegally possessing arms and ammunition by Bhopal Pura Police today. Police have recovered two pistols and several live bullets from the accused.

The accused Chetan Sharma (28), Harsh Bhavnani (22) and Praveen Bhoi (22) were arrested from different places under Arms Act.

Police have found pistols from Chetan, resident of Amal Ka Kanta and Harsh, resident of Jawahar Nagar, while Praveen, resident of Bhoiwada was carrying three live bullets. All three were arrested from different areas falling under Bhopal Pura Police Station.

Police informed that accused Harsh Bhawnani runs a travel agency.

According to C.I, Gyanendra Singh, the arrest may lead to breaking of the nexus active in illegal arm trade in the city. Action was taken under the direction of S.P Mahesh Kumar Goyal.
