3 Employees of Registrar Office Arrested for Bribery

Udaipur’s Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested three employees of Property Registrar Office near Residency school, for bribery. The main accused Laluram Nagda had allegedly demanded Rs. 5000 from a villager for transferring his own land on his wife’s name.

The main accused Laluram Nagda had allegedly demanded Rs. 5000 from a villager for transferring his own land on his wife’s name.

The other two accused Kailash Nagda, deed writer and Suresh Bhanawat, UDC were arrested for assisting Laluram Nagda.

According to Rajendra Prasad Goyal, Ad S.P., an applicant Bhanwarlal Meghwal resident of Village Liyon ka Guda, Badi owns a half bigha land which he wanted to transfer on the name of his wife. Meghwal reached Registrar Office today morning and met Laluram Nagda.

Nagda demanded Rs. 5000 for doing this ‘work’ on which Meghwal negotiated and brought the bribe amount to Rs. 4000.

After the deal was agreed, Meghwal approached ACB office and narrated the whole incidence. On this, ACB team verified the complaint and laid the trap.

Rajendra Prasad Goyal informed that as soon as Meghwal kept the bribe money on table, another accused Kailash Nagda took the money and gave it to his colleague Suresh Bhanawat, Bhanawat kept the money in a cupboard.

The main accused Laluram Nagda, co accused Kailash Nagda and Suresh Bhanawat are arrested for bribery.
