The growing instances of theft in Bhupalpura took a new turn when 3 young men abducted an elderly woman early morning and robbed of her jewelry. A case has been registered against the unidentified accused.

The mishap occurred early morning at around 5.30 AM when Mohan Bai (70) w/o Ambalal Mali went for a morning stroll. Resident of Krishna Pura, as she walked towards Bhupalpura main road, a white car with three men abducted her near Chaplot Hospital. They reached near TB hospital at Badi where the accused stole all her jewelry and fled away from the scene.

When the women shouted for help, the nearby locals reached for help and called her relatives. She had received minor injuries as well, informed police.

The senior police officers of Bhopalpura police station reacted upon getting the information and barricaded main circles of the city. So far, no arrest has been made and the investigation is still on.
