In an attempt to impede the nexus of illegal weapons in Udaipur district, Kotra police arrested one person with three pistols and 6 live bullets.

The accused Chetan Kumar Bumardia from Village Kukavas, Kotra is booked under Arms Act. Chetan was arrested from bus stand while he was attempting to catch a bus. According to police, he was found carrying weapons and could not give satisfactory answer.

The arrest was made following the information received by Kotra Police. Prima Facie, the accused was going to sell these weapons and might also be involved in smuggling of arms.

Police has started investigation.
