Three women were caught by bus passengers soon after they snatched gold chain from a female teacher travelling in the bus. The accused women were arrested and sent to Jail.

The incident took place at Dabok road when the victim and accused were travelling in Udaipur-Mavli Bus. The accused women are habitual offenders and were previously arrested for similar crime.

Badam Devi, teacher at Government School, Nandel was on her way to school. The bus was full of passengers, hence, taking the advantage of crowd in the bus the accused trio snatched  gold chain from the teacher.

However soon after the incidence, the victim realized about the mishap and she shouted. The bus was immediately stopped and when suspected women were checked, the stolen gold chain of the victim was recovered from them, informed police.

All three accused Rekha, Laxmi and Pooja from M.P were going to Mavli Court for their trail regarding a previous case of chain snatching.
