32 people were arrested by various police stations of the city today under a movement led by S.P Mahesh Kumar Goyal. Majority of the arrested accused are under the standing warrant or arrest warrant.

It is believed to be the first time in Udaipur that so many people were arrested in a single day. According to the S.P, the motive behind the special drive is to control the crime rate of the city.

Many of the accused are the one absconding for the past several months. The arrested also include suspects, anti social elements, fraud accused and few are arrested under Excise Act.
