Hiran Magri Police detained four people in the connection of the murder that took place on the night of 23rd Aug at Savina. The main accused Ishtiyaq Kunjra is still absconding.

Victim Sanjay Harijan’s postmortem was conducted early today morning. Sanjay was shot on chest by Ishtiyaq over a petty issue. Sanjay died during treatment.

According to police, the accused Ishtiyaq, resident of Lal Magri is a history sheeter and have several criminal cases against him in Goverdhan Vilas Police Station.

Sanjay was working as a gardener. Police sources also informed that Ishthiyaq had a fight with Sanjay’s brother one year ago and a case is also registered.
