4 Fake candidates arrested during LDC, UDC Exams

Udaipur police, on Saturday, have arrested four persons who were appearing with fake documents proxy for registered candidates in the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) examinations being held at a private college in the city.

Udaipur police, on Saturday, have arrested four persons who were appearing with fake documents proxy for registered candidates in the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) examinations being held at a private college in the city.

The accused, identified as Ravi (24) of Tuda village, Bheem; Sujit (22) of Jamsadpur; Rajkumar(19) of Bihar and Jitendra (21) of Faridpur were caught by the examiners while they were appearing in the examination on the name of other candidates. On suspicion, their ID cards and admission cards were verified and they did not match. Immediately the police was informed about the incident and the accused were taken to the Pratap Nagar police station. They were later booked under various sections of IPS and Sarvajanik Pariksha Adhiniyam after the head of IBBS Rajnikant had lodged an FIR against them, as per Pratap Nagar police

In the police interrogation the accused accepted that they were appearing in the competition examination on the name of other candidates to get good marks for them and for that they had taken money from those candidates, police added.

Further investigation in the matter is on and police is now interrogating the accused to get more detials about their racket and the areas in which they are operating.
